The Housekeeper role at Cogir Senior Living is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Housekeepers ensure that all living spaces, common areas, administrative offices, and dining rooms are kept hygienic and orderly, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community. This position involves performing routine cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and disinfecting bathrooms and other surfaces. Additionally, housekeepers handle laundry tasks, trash disposal, and the safe use of cleaning chemicals according to community protocols.
Besides cleaning duties, this role also participates in meal service from Monday to Friday, assisting in breakfast and lunch by guiding residents through meal times, taking food orders, delivering meal trays, bussing, and cleaning dining areas. The housekeeper’s friendly and respectful interactions with residents are vital in building positive relationships and ensuring residents’ comfort and satisfaction. Respecting residents’ privacy and preferences is an important component of this role.

                - High school diploma or equivalent
 - At least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting
 - Restaurant or food handling experience or hospitality skills preferred
 - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
 - Good time management and organizational skills
 - Friendly and professional demeanor
 - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
