Ideal candidates will have prior experience in senior living environments such as long-term care, assisted living, or memory support, alongside a deep empathy and commitment to working with elderly populations. This position requires meticulous attention to detail in cleaning and sanitation tasks, following established health, infection control, universal precautions, sanitation, and facility appearance protocols according to industry standards. Responsibilities include cleaning private residences, healthcare units, and common areas through dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and more, prioritizing tasks based on management guidance. Effective stewardship of inventory, supplies, and equipment is essential, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team. • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• At least two years of prior housekeeping experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Strong focus on safety and productivity
• Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Skilled at working courteously and patiently with the elderly
• Knowledge of safe and appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment use
• Familiarity with computer software programs and office equipment operation
• Availability to work beyond normal scheduled hours, weekends, and other positions as needed
