The Housekeeper's responsibilities include performing thorough cleaning of guest rooms and hotel facilities, including making beds, replenishing linens and terry, cleaning bathrooms, sinks, refrigerators, and floors, and using appropriate cleaning chemicals in compliance with OSHA regulations and company guidelines. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential components of the role. Additionally, the Housekeeper serves as a representative of HomeTowne Studios by welcoming guests with a friendly greeting and smile, maintaining confidentiality of guest information, and communicating effectively with the front desk about room status, maintenance issues, and guest needs. The position requires a proactive and flexible individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Housekeepers are also encouraged to cross-train in other hotel job functions such as laundry, maintenance, or front desk operations, providing opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
