The Housekeeper position at Sunrise Senior Living plays a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and inviting atmosphere of the community. This is a full-time role where the housekeeper is entrusted with performing housekeeping and laundry tasks that meet and exceed Sunrise’s quality service standards. This job involves not only cleaning duties in resident suites and public areas but also engaging with residents and preserving their privacy and comfort during the cleaning process. Housekeepers at Sunrise are responsible for sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing fixtures, and maintaining all assigned area cleanliness to the highest standards. They also manage laundry operations, sorting, washing, folding linens, and ensuring that all linens are in optimal condition. Beyond housekeeping and laundry tasks, the role requires coordination with Care Managers to assist with resident care when needed and to ensure positive resident relations by addressing resident requests promptly and professionally. Safety and risk management are integral aspects of this role. Housekeepers must ensure all cleaning chemicals are stored safely, maintain clear and hazard-free working areas, and adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations. The job demands a commitment to infection control procedures and maintaining sanitary conditions in all work environments. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting quality standards
• Desire to work with seniors
