The Housekeeper role at Capri Communities is a crucial position focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and their families. This position requires availability to pick up shifts as needed, working approximately 16 hours per week. The Housekeeper’s primary responsibility is to ensure all resident apartments, community common areas, lobbies, restrooms, and other shared spaces are meticulously cleaned and maintained. This role goes beyond routine cleaning by supporting the overall health and safety standards of the community, contributing significantly to residents’ comfort and well-being. Candidates in this role will undertake various cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, disinfecting surfaces, washing windows, and emptying trash or other disposable materials. The Housekeeper also assists care staff with cleaning high-traffic areas such as hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common areas, ensuring these spaces remain orderly and hygienic. In addition to the cleaning duties, Housekeepers are responsible for reporting any needed repairs or maintenance issues directly to the Executive Director and maintenance specialists to uphold the facility’s quality and operational standards.
