We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team at Ebony Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall orderliness of the facility, which directly impacts the quality of life for our residents and staff. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping tasks that ensure the environment remains sanitary, attractive, and welcoming. Under the supervision of the housekeeping supervisor, this role involves routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors; dusting furniture and fixtures; sanitizing bathroom and kitchen surfaces; and managing waste disposal. Additionally, the Housekeeper may be tasked with washing windows and walls and replenishing necessary paper supplies throughout the premises. This position is crucial in helping maintain a positive and healthy atmosphere within the facility, supporting the overall mission of providing high-quality nursing and rehabilitation care. While experience as a housekeeper or janitor is preferred, it is not a strict requirement, as ongoing training and support will be provided. The role requires basic education qualifications, specifically a high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to follow OSHA standards related to the safe handling of infectious waste.
