The housekeeper is responsible for performing a comprehensive range of housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, shampooing carpets, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning counters, taking out the trash, and cleaning windows. In addition to these tasks, the housekeeper will also be in charge of restocking common area bistros, bathrooms, resident rooms, and other living spaces with necessary supplies such as paper products and hand soap. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established cleaning procedures to meet the high standards expected within an assisted living environment. Furthermore, the housekeeper must manage the setup and mixing of cleaning solutions according to safety specifications and properly use chemical cleaners and power equipment without causing damage to floors or fixtures. The role involves maintaining community common areas and resident rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and steam cleaning carpets.
