Stoney Brook Copperas Cove, one of the esteemed communities within 4-K Housing, is currently seeking a motivated Part-Time Housekeeper to join its team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the community’s standards for cleanliness and safety, ensuring that all living spaces and common areas remain sanitary, orderly, and welcoming. The Housekeeper’s responsibilities directly contribute to creating a home-like environment where residents can feel comfortable and cared for. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a genuine desire to work with seniors and understand the patience required to support residents who may experience behaviors associated with dementia and other aging processes.
The Part-Time Housekeeper will be responsible for a variety of cleaning duties including replenishing restrooms, emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning desks, tables, and floors, as well as vacuuming offices and common areas. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards such as OSHA and health codes are paramount. The role also involves maintaining janitorial supplies, reporting safety incidents promptly, assisting with preparing vacant apartments for new residents, and managing keys, equipment, and inventory responsibly. This position requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience in residential or hotel cleaning preferred
- Great customer service attitude
- Ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests
- Knowledge of and skills in general janitorial and cleaning responsibilities
- Ability to use janitorial equipment including floor scrubbing equipment and vacuum cleaners
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Able to work independently or work with others in the completion of assigned tasks
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check
