The role offered is that of a Sales Associate at Williams-Sonoma, a full-time or part-time position that plays a critical role in driving the customer experience and store performance. The Sales Associate is responsible for creating a lively and upbeat atmosphere for both customers and teammates, engaging clients effectively at the cash wrap, and providing personalized service that leaves a lasting positive impression. This position requires accurate and efficient performance of sales transactions including purchases, returns, and exchanges while ensuring all pricing and register operations are precise.
Sales Associates must proactively manage customer expectations by clearly communicating product information, care instructions, maintenance, delivery timelines, and any applicable promotions to enhance the sales process. They are tasked with affirming purchases, suggesting complementary merchandise, and sharing information about store events and workshops to enrich the customer journey. Maintaining visual standards and inventory at the cash wrap area, utilizing all available resources to resolve customer issues, and complying with company policies are also essential responsibilities.

Full-time associates must have open availability, while part-time associates require availability for specific weekend shifts with a minimum of 20 hours per week to meet business demands.
