The House Attendant at Canyon Rim Resort plays a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition of the resort’s public spaces, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager, this role demands an individual who can operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound judgment and a proactive approach to duties. The House Attendant is responsible for supporting housekeeping associates by ensuring they have the necessary supplies and by helping maintain cleanliness in corridors, patios, stairways, garages, and recreational facilities such as hot tubs and saunas. Beyond routine cleaning, the position requires the ability to handle special tasks such as VIP room preparations, carpet cleaning with specialized equipment, mattress turning, and furniture moving. Interaction with guests and cooperation with other departments, particularly the front desk, are also essential components of the role, requiring excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
Candidates for this position must exhibit a high level of professionalism and ethical behavior, maintaining consistent attendance and adhering strictly to the company’s performance standards and policies. Physical stamina is necessary, as the role involves considerable movement, including standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities throughout an extended shift. The ideal House Attendant candidate will bring a minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably within the hospitality or timeshare sectors, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.                 - Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
 - Must be able to successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing, background check, physical examination and drug screening test
 - Fluency in English is preferred
 - Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
 - Must also be able to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
 - Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
 - Clear vision (close, distant and depth perception) is needed for navigating office and all other buildings within the resort
