We are currently seeking an experienced, driven, and results-oriented Sales & Catering Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is based out of the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort, one of the four properties in our portfolio with 652 guest rooms. As the Sales & Catering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in generating group business, managing events, and ensuring outstanding client satisfaction across all four hotels. This position calls for a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships and driving revenue through strategic sales efforts focused on group bookings, meetings, and catered events. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination between various hotel departments.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining community partnerships, conducting outreach and networking, and participating in industry events to promote the properties. You will work closely with Food and Beverage and Operations teams to guarantee flawless event execution and maintain high standards that exceed client expectations. You will also monitor key performance indicators, analyze sales reports, and adjust your strategies to meet and surpass monthly and annual revenue goals for room nights and catering services. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage events for multiple hotel properties, providing a stimulating work environment with diverse group offerings. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of hotel sales and catering experience, preferably in a resort or condo-hotel setting, and possess strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Delphi, and Maestro is highly advantageous.
This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to accommodate weekend and evening events, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
