The role being offered is that of a Server, an essential position within the restaurant responsible for ensuring that every guest has a satisfying dining experience. This position requires a friendly and attentive individual who is capable of welcoming and greeting guests with genuine hospitality. The Server will be responsible for answering questions about the menu items, including food and beverages, helping guests make informed choices and enhancing their overall experience. Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the point-of-sale system is a fundamental component of the role, alongside promptly delivering ordered items from the kitchen and bar to the guests’ tables. A Server also prepares the final bill, processes payments including credit card transactions, and provides excellent cash handling services.
Beyond the direct interactions with guests, the Server plays a key role in team operations. The role requires performing side work as instructed by management at the start and end of shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and cleanliness. Monitoring guests’ satisfaction levels throughout the meal and responding promptly and courteously to any requests or feedback is vital, as is communicating effectively with managers and other team members. This collaborative spirit extends to assisting fellow servers whenever possible to ensure smooth operations and outstanding customer service. Servers are required to participate in training to gain comprehensive knowledge of the menu and are expected to work occasionally as Food Runners to support kitchen operations. This position demands individuals who are at least 18 years of age, possess excellent hygiene and grooming habits, and hold certifications such as Food Handler and TABC Certification.
