Residence Inn Ankeny is a well-established hotel located in the vibrant heart of The District at Prairie Trail. The Night Auditor position at Residence Inn Ankeny is a full-time role with working hours scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 9 pm to 7 am. This role is ideal for individuals who are night owls and have a knack for working with numbers and details. As a night auditor, you will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations over the phone, checking guests in and out with efficiency and friendliness, and addressing guest needs promptly. A key part of this role involves running the nightly audit and preparing end-of-day financial reports for Marriott and the corporate office. While prior Marriott experience or familiarity with FOSSE software is advantageous, the hotel is committed to training the right candidate thoroughly. In addition to administrative and guest-facing duties, the night auditor will also engage in light cleaning and organizing tasks along with any other responsibilities assigned by the general manager. This role requires someone who can multitask effectively, maintain accuracy under pressure, and uphold high standards of customer service and integrity. The ability to act as the hotel manager on duty during the night shift, handle emergency procedures, and ensure guest safety is crucial.
