The role of Director of Sales-Select Service at Aimbridge Hospitality involves direct oversight and strategic management of the sales and marketing operations of a select service hotel. This position is pivotal in achieving optimal occupancy levels, average daily rate (ADR) growth, and maximizing total revenue streams in alignment with the hotel's profit objectives. The Director of Sales will lead the hotel's sales department, managing everything from direct sales efforts and follow-up to sales administration. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and coaching sales staff to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.

The Director will actively engage in outside sales calls, conduct tours, entertain clients, and negotiate contract terms. In addition to internal sales initiatives, the Director of Sales ensures compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality's standards and goals, promotes visibility in local community and industry organizations, and maintains open communication with marketing partners and other hotel stakeholders. The role also involves representing the General Manager in their absence and participating in meetings and training sessions regularly.

- At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
