The General Manager position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. In this role, the General Manager will direct and coordinate hotel activities to achieve optimum efficiency and economy of operations. Leading by example, the General Manager will ensure outstanding service delivery, uphold service guidelines developed in collaboration with the Corporate Operations Team, and maintain a seamless execution of all hospitality practices. Building and nurturing a collaborative, inspired, and masterful team dedicated to superior guest service is a critical component of this position. The General Manager will monitor and track departmental performances to guarantee success and make informed decisions to enhance operational effectiveness. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including fostering a "guests first" culture, managing staffing levels to optimize guest satisfaction within budgetary constraints, and overseeing payroll approval and month-end financial reporting. Experience with M3 accounting software is preferred, providing an advantage in managing financial operations efficiently. Additionally, the General Manager will mentor key team members such as the Assistant General Manager and Sales staff, encouraging their professional growth while engaging in continuous personal development. Participation in various tasks assigned by Ownership and the Corporate Office will further demonstrate the General Manager's versatility and commitment to the hotel's success. This position embodies leadership excellence and operational mastery, essential for maintaining the hotel’s distinguished reputation and achieving sustained business growth.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations

  • Ability to assign or delegate work and authority
  • Degree in hotel management or related field or two years equivalent hotel industry experience
