The company is currently seeking part-time Picnic Hosts to join their energetic team. As a Picnic Host, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of each picnic event, from the initial setup to the final breakdown and cleanup. This position is perfect for individuals who are organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in customer service or guest relations. The role requires hands-on involvement, requiring you to load supplies, style picnic setups according to the specified theme, greet guests warmly, document the event by taking photos and videos, and ensure that all supplies are returned safely to the warehouse. The role offers a starting pay rate between $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, with additional mileage reimbursement, making it a rewarding opportunity for those looking to engage in part-time work with flexible hours primarily on weekends and occasional weekdays. Training is provided to ensure that Picnic Hosts can carry out their duties proficiently and confidently. This role demands a strong understanding of event management, especially the flexibility to think on your feet and adapt quickly to any last-minute changes or challenges that may arise during events. Picnic Hosts are expected to uphold company values by demonstrating good judgment, integrity, maturity, and flexibility. They must act as excellent troubleshooters, maintaining an acute attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to address any unforeseen issues with the picnic setup. Strong customer service skills are essential, enabling hosts to maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and coworkers professionally and efficiently. Being calm and composed in emergencies and maintaining confidentiality when needed are also key attributes. The position includes responsibilities such as ensuring food quality, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff, and managing equipment effectively. Hosts must follow safety protocols, adhere to dress code policies, and maintain punctuality and accurate time-keeping. The role also involves making sure the picnic site is cleaner than when the team arrived and documenting all pre- and post-event evaluations.
