The role is customer service oriented and primarily focuses on greeting guests, managing the front of house flow, and ensuring that guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for during their visit to the restaurant. The role involves greeting and seating guests according to company standards, assisting with the efficient flow of guests through the dining experience, and creating a friendly, upbeat atmosphere for all visitors. This job also includes occasional assistance with delivering food and drinks, managing waitlists during busy periods, and supporting the clearing and resetting of tables in line with team-oriented dining practices. The position requires good communication skills, an engaging demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively with fellow team members to uphold the restaurant's high service standards. Additionally, this role involves general front of house maintenance including cleaning and organizing dining areas, restrooms, and other customer-accessible spaces, ensuring the restaurant environment is clean, safe, and inviting. The ability to use technology including Tabletop Electronic Devices for order management and communication is also a part of this role. Employees must be able to engage guests verbally, assist with special guest needs, accommodate special seating requests, and effectively promote menu items through suggestive selling techniques. Applicants for this role should be at least 16 years old and possess reliable transportation. Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory. Bilingual skills are a plus, as is a friendly and team-oriented personality along with the ability to follow instructions from management and maintain professionalism at all times. Physical demands of the role include standing for extended periods, mobility throughout the dining area, lifting and carrying dining items, and maintaining a fast-paced work pace in a sometimes noisy or wet environment.
