The role available at Moku Kitchen is that of a Host, a pivotal position responsible for ensuring guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive. This hourly position offers a competitive wage between $14.00 and $21.00. The Host serves as the first point of contact and has the crucial task of managing guest seating arrangements including handling reservations through the OpenTable system. This role demands excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to maintain a positive and energetic demeanor while greeting guests, answering phones, and coordinating with the serving staff effectively. The Host's responsibilities go beyond greeting to include answering inquiries about the restaurant, managing wait times efficiently, and assisting servers with table assignments to optimize seating and enhance guest satisfaction. Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the greeting station and ensuring restrooms are well-stocked and tidy are also part of the daily duties.
