This particular role is a full-time management position based at the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge, located at 1100 Drummers Lane, Wayne, Pennsylvania. It offers a competitive annual salary range of $58,000 to $78,000 and includes bonus eligibility, making it a rewarding opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals. The role involves comprehensive operational responsibilities, including supporting all aspects of hotel management such as guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales, revenue generation, and ensuring a return on investment for the property. The candidate will work closely with the General Manager to lead the team in executing property-wide strategies and ensure compliance with brand service standards and initiatives. This includes maintaining high service levels, fostering key customer relationships, and actively participating in the sales process.
The position requires a strong focus on both operational and financial management, making sure the property meets or exceeds all brand standards in every department. This involves supervising various hotel departments, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and managing licenses and permits. Financial management duties include handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll, banking procedures, and reviewing financial statements to improve productivity and cost efficiency. Another critical aspect of the job entails leading and developing departmental teams, providing constructive coaching, and setting clear performance expectations. The ideal candidate will be approachable, professional, and able to motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and handle guest concerns proactively.

 - OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
 - 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
 - ability to lead and manage multiple departments
 - knowledge of financial management, accounting, and payroll
 - strong communication and interpersonal skills
 - familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
