Hosts also assist in answering phones, making reservations, and taking food orders when necessary. This position does not require previous experience, as new hires will receive paid on-the-job training. Hosts must excel in customer service etiquette, be capable of juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment, and uphold the restaurant's high standards for safety and cleanliness. Daily duties include maintaining sanitation around the host desk, lobby area, and entrance, as well as learning the restaurant’s seating layout to optimize guest seating arrangements. Additional responsibilities include understanding curbside pickup and takeout guidelines, setting and clearing tables according to established specifications, and completing side-work assigned for each shift.
