This part-time host position is based in Anaheim, California, at Centrico and Tiendita, where the host plays a crucial role in creating memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for diners, responsible for welcoming guests warmly, managing the host station, and ensuring smooth guest flow throughout the dining area. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and a composed, gracious demeanor even during peak times. Being a tipped position, the base hourly wage is $20.42, with additional earnings possible through tips. The host maintains the reservation system, oversees seating arrangements, and assists in managing special guest requests, dietary considerations, and preferences with genuine care and discretion. Furthermore, the position requires inspecting dining and serving areas to uphold cleanliness and proper setup standards, answering telephone inquiries during operational hours, and engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction before, during, and after their meals. • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
• Ability to maintain a composed, gracious presence while managing the energy of the entrance and waiting area
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
• No high school diploma or GED required
• Ability to remain on feet for the entire length of the shift
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
