We are currently seeking a dedicated Restaurant Cashier to join our team under the guidance of the Restaurant Services Supervisor. This role is pivotal in establishing excellent first and last impressions for our guests by providing courteous and efficient service during every interaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers warmly upon their arrival, promptly seating guests, and managing the transactions involved with payment collection and accurate change dispensing. The Restaurant Cashier also plays an essential role in maintaining restaurant operations by answering inquiries related to both the restaurant and casino policies, assisting servers with food and beverage orders, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. This position demands strong interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail in cash handling, and a proactive approach to enhancing guest satisfaction. As a key frontline representative, the Cashier will also participate in daily operational duties such as balancing cash registers, assisting in order processing, and responding to guest feedback to improve service quality. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in an environment that may expose employees to various conditions, including noise, smoke, and fluctuating temperatures. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment screening process including drug and alcohol tests and obtain a gaming license as mandated by casino regulations. Experience in food and beverage service, along with ServSafe certification, will be considered an asset to support compliance and ensure a safe service environment. Overall, this position is integral to creating an inviting and smoothly functioning restaurant atmosphere that enhances the overall guests' casino experience, contributing to increased customer loyalty and revenue growth.
- High school diploma or GED unless waived
- Six months cash handling and guest service experience
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- Must pass background investigation
