The Hospitality Service Support position at Hooters plays a vital role in ensuring guests receive an outstanding experience from the moment they enter the restaurant. This role offers a unique opportunity to be cross-trained in three key areas: Host, To-Go, and Staff. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them with a personal and energetic demeanor, managing seating rotations, and ensuring that guests’ needs are efficiently accommodated. The Host also supports the sales of merchandise and must be knowledgeable about new menu items and specials to assist guests effectively. In the To-Go role, responsibilities include taking and processing orders received via phone, delivery service applications, online platforms, and walk-ins, focusing on order accuracy, suggestive selling, and timely service. This role requires attention to detail in packaging and processing payments while maintaining up-to-date menu knowledge. The Staff role is centered around maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various restaurant areas including the parking lot, front of house, restrooms, and the bar area if applicable. This role contributes significantly to the guests’ perception of the restaurant environment. Staff also ensures that wait stations are fully stocked and may provide support as a Food Runner. Multitasking and prioritization skills are valued to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
