The position of Restaurant Manager at BOA Steakhouse is an exciting leadership opportunity that involves overseeing daily restaurant operations while fostering a culture of excellence throughout the team. The Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of the service meet company standards, from training and developing front-of-house employees to maintaining smooth communication between staff and management. This role requires a hands-on leader who is actively engaged during service, providing support and guidance to employees to uphold the highest level of guest satisfaction. In addition to managing people, the Restaurant Manager assists with administrative tasks such as scheduling staff, managing labor and costs, and overseeing compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations. They also handle guest concerns with professionalism and poise and maintain operational efficiency by coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance interventions. - Three years of previous and relevant experience in a high-end high-volume restaurant
- Must be twenty-one years of age or older
- Possess a strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Demonstrate strong operational skills and excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Outlook Word Excel Open Table and Restaurant POS Systems
- Be a creative thinker who can run the restaurant while generating new sources of revenue
- Have the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have a flexible schedule available to work daytime evening and weekend shifts
- At time of hire must have a valid Food Handler Card a valid Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate and a Sheriff Card Non-Gaming
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours with some walking and occasional sitting
- Be able to frequently lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds
