We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Helicopter Pilot to join our Med-Trans team to provide vital medical air transportation services. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $95,720 to $105,292, which includes a 10% geographic modifier to reflect the location's cost of living. Additionally, new hires will receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a $40,000 retention bonus after three years of service. The position comes with on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule, accommodating a balanced work-life arrangement for pilots.
As a Helicopter Pilot at Med-Trans, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients in collaboration with medical experts, requiring a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety protocols. You will ensure that the aircraft is ready for flight dispatches, meeting all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and Med-Trans standards, including aircraft cleanliness and maintenance checks. Maintaining accurate documentation, including MTC and regulatory records, is essential to compliance and operational safety. You will work closely with the dispatch team, flight crews, medical facilities, and partners to coordinate flights effectively. Shift changes will require thorough communication to ensure smooth transitions between pilot teams, always following company procedures and protocols. The role demands accountability in maintaining certifications and completing ongoing training to stay current with aviation standards and best practices.
