This job opportunity is offered at one of Highgate Hotels' properties, specifically the Hampton Inn Laredo located at 7903 San Dario Ave, Laredo, TX 78045. The role available is House Attendant, which involves ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas and hotel equipment. As a House Attendant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the hotel’s standards of hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include buffing and shampooing floors, carpets, and furniture to uphold the property’s aesthetic standards. Additionally, the position demands active engagement in guest services, such as delivering items to guestrooms including express checkout materials and newspapers, assisting with luggage requests in a courteous and efficient manner, and managing items for the Lost and Found department in accordance with hotel policies. The House Attendant is also tasked with cleaning guestrooms as needed, maintaining hotel equipment and storage areas, assisting with emergency procedures, and completing special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. The position requires a hands-on approach to ensuring overall guest satisfaction through attentive and friendly service. This role requires physical capability to exert significant effort in tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for entire shifts, and maintaining communication with guests and employees in a service-oriented manner. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a hotel or related field are preferred.
