The Line Service Professional role at Million Air is a pivotal position in the customer service department, designed for individuals passionate about aviation ground operations and delivering superior customer care. This role requires a hands-on approach to various ground handling duties, including aircraft movement and fueling, ensuring the safe placement and storage of aircraft, and maintaining the operational readiness and upkeep of company vehicles and facilities. The employee in this role must be adept at multitasking and display a high level of awareness and communication to coordinate effectively with customers, pilots, and fellow team members. The position demands a natural customer focus, an ability to communicate confidently both in-person and through radio channels, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. In addition to technical responsibilities, the position offers opportunities to engage with clients directly, promoting services and representing Million Air's commitment to comprehensive, friendly customer support. This is a non-exempt, entry-level role that requires shift work including evenings, weekends, and scheduled holidays, reflecting the operational needs of the aviation service industry. Essential physical demands include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, willingness to work in varying weather conditions, and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and ladder climbing. The work environment involves exposure to noise, chemicals, fumes, and machinery associated with aircraft operations. Ideal candidates come equipped with customer service experience from related sectors and preferably some prior knowledge of aircraft ground handling. A high school diploma is mandatory, alongside a clean driving record for insurable operation of company vehicles, and the ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.
