The role of General Utility at Guest Services is a pivotal position that ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of the company’s food service and dining facilities. This hourly position, offering compensation of $13.50 per hour, focuses on cleaning dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, and other food preparation and serving equipment. The General Utility is also responsible for maintaining the kitchen, serving, and dining areas in a sanitary and orderly condition by performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Attention to detail and adherence to safety and health compliance standards are critical. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items, work in various temperature conditions, and stand for the entire workday. A General Utility team member actively contributes to the overall customer experience by ensuring a clean and safe environment, promptly addressing waste disposal, and restocking supplies as needed. This position demands strong communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and management, ensuring that any issues or safety concerns are reported immediately.
