The Guest Service Agent role at HHM Hotels is a vital frontline position responsible for greeting, registering, and servicing guests with a warm and courteous demeanor. This full-time or part-time position is designed to uphold hotel and brand standards while contributing to overall guest satisfaction. The agent greets guests immediately upon arrival, assists with check-in and check-out procedures, makes and confirms reservations, assigns rooms, and handles all methods of payment including credit verification. Additionally, the role involves managing communication by transmitting and receiving messages using telephones or the Property Management System (PMS). Beyond routine duties, the Guest Service Agent plays an active role in maintaining guest satisfaction by responding to requests promptly, resolving complaints efficiently, and securing valuables either in hotel safes or safe-deposit boxes. The job also includes bookkeeping tasks like balancing accounts and conducting audits, ensuring accuracy and financial accountability. During peak times or when staffing assistance is needed, the agent assists in the breakfast area or helps guests with their luggage. Safety is a priority, requiring adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.
