Reporting directly to the Guest Service Coordinator, this full-time or part-time non-exempt role offers an hourly wage averaging between $7.25 and $22.00, reflective of a base pay of $10.00 per hour plus potential tips based on customer service quality and market variations. As the first and last point of contact for guests, the valet attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving guest vehicles, managing traffic flow, and ensuring the overall safety and cleanliness of the valet area. This role requires professionalism, punctuality, adherence to company policies, and the ability to maintain a welcoming and courteous attitude throughout interactions. \n\nThe valet attendant’s duties go beyond vehicle handling to include vehicle condition inspections, tip reporting, compliance with key handling protocols, and supporting the valet team with additional tasks as necessary. The role demands physical stamina as it involves standing, walking, running short distances, and lifting up to 50 pounds, often in varying weather conditions. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential. Employees will interact frequently with guests, team members, vendors, and use communication tools such as phones and radios. Employees must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
