This position is responsible for efficiently cleaning and servicing guest rooms to established standards, ensuring that every visitor experiences a positive and memorable stay. The role typically involves maintaining cleanliness, replenishing amenities, and inspecting rooms for quality assurance. It also demands proactive communication with guests and team members and adherence to global standard operating procedures to uphold the highest levels of safety and hygiene. \n\nThe guest room attendant works closely with the housekeeping team, supporting a collaborative environment through mentoring new staff and providing exceptional customer service. Regular training is part of the role, covering essential topics such as bio cleanup, use of cleaning agents, equipment safety, and carpet shampooing. Physical resilience and the ability to manage multiple cleaning tasks efficiently are necessary due to requirements such as changing bed linens daily, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms meticulously. The role also requires handling lost and found items, reporting maintenance defects, and removing additional equipment like food trays or cribs as needed. \n\nPunctuality and regular attendance are equally important for maintaining smooth operations, alongside a professional attitude and the capability to work independently or within a team. Key performance indicators (KPIs) are used to measure success, providing transparent feedback as part of the performance review process.
