The Guest Recognition Specialist plays a vital role in driving the hotel’s sales efforts and enhancing guest satisfaction through expert handling of reservations and guest profile management. This full-time position involves engaging with prospective guests, managing incoming reservation calls, coordinating details carefully, and ensuring seamless communication before, during, and after guest stays. Working closely with multiple departments, the Specialist maintains an expert knowledge of guest profiles and preferences using advanced systems like Golden and Key.
The role demands detailed attention to profile enrichment, ongoing training for team members on guest recognition processes, and the proficient use of technology to generate accurate reports that support operational and sales strategies. Beyond sales conversion, the Specialist manages various communication channels including phone calls, emails, and chats, interacting with guests and travel planners to deliver tailored experiences that meet and exceed expectations.
