The company is currently seeking a Group Sales Manager to join their Sales team either in Sacramento, the Bay Area, or a nearby remote location such as Fresno. This position focuses on managing sales for Association, Government, and some Corporate Business meetings at Tenaya Lodge. The Group Sales Manager will play an instrumental role in driving business growth and enhancing guest satisfaction by managing and expanding group sales accounts. They are responsible for soliciting new group business, nurturing existing key client relationships, and ensuring revenue goals are met or exceeded across rooms, food, beverage, and ancillary services.
This role offers a blend of remote work flexibility with occasional on-site presence at Tenaya Lodge, accommodating candidates who reside within a practical distance to facilitate meetings and property visits. The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $68,640 to $73,700, complemented by an uncapped sales incentive plan and an annual bonus tied to company and individual performance. - Minimum of three years of past sales experience preferred
- Previous hospitality industry experience
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Delphi.fdc software preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute action plans
