The role of Group Rooms Coordinator at Valley River Inn is an exciting and vital position aimed at managing group and contracted business-related guestroom reservations. As a Group Rooms Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling all group-related bookings, ensuring seamless communication with clients regarding reservations, deposits, and invoicing processes. A critical part of the role involves working with the Property Management System and Synxis group booking links to input rooming lists, make reservation changes, and maintain accurate records of group master accounts. Coordination with sales, events, and accounting teams is essential to ensure timely collection of deposits and final payments in accordance with contractual schedules.
You will also be tasked with processing sales department invoices, maintaining organized digital files, and overseeing special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed. The role demands a high level of confidentiality regarding guest information and company data, combined with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Strong communication skills are a must, including the ability to write, proofread, and edit business correspondence, sales contracts, and reports.
