This role is based within a mid-rise, stabilized property community consisting of 241 residential units. The position offers a Monday through Friday work schedule and a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $18.00, reflecting individual qualifications and regional business requirements. This property maintenance role is critical to preserving the physical integrity and enhancing the curb appeal of the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring that the property consistently meets Greystar's high standards for aesthetics and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include continuous inspections for litter and debris, managing trash removal from vacant apartments before the make-ready process, and assisting the make-ready specialist during apartment turnovers. Key duties also involve minor service request completions, lock changes in compliance with property policies, and safety checks related to gated pool areas. This role demands a proactive approach to hazard identification and the ability to support both residents and team members with excellent customer service skills. Participation in safety meetings and adherence to all Greystar safety and risk management guidelines, including OSHA compliance, are mandatory. Furthermore, the candidate must hold a valid driver's license allowing operation of property golf carts and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance while working under various weather conditions. The position may require occasional travel to support other properties or attend training sessions and demands flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
