The part-time Store Cashier role at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of the organization’s retail operations in Holly Hill, FL. The position involves providing outstanding customer service while managing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. As a Store Cashier, you will greet customers warmly, assist donors, operate the cash register, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Additionally, you will support the sales floor by helping with stocking and recovery duties. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have a keen eye for detail, and can maintain a courteous and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Although no specific education level is strictly required, a high school diploma or equivalent along with previous cashier or retail experience is preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with touchscreen cash registers are advantageous for success in this role. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
