This position is mainly remote, offering flexibility for candidates residing anywhere within Florida, but it also includes mandatory on-site work during special circumstances such as emergencies or disaster situations. As a senior-level role, the GIS Server Administrator functions as a technical leader who designs, deploys, and maintains geographically distributed GIS services. Responsibilities emphasize maintaining high levels of service uptime through effective load balancing, failover strategies, and disaster recovery planning. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to optimize server capacity, tune GIS services, and monitor system resources to secure a reliable and scalable GIS infrastructure. • Florida residency
• Seven years of technical and professional experience including customer service
• One year of professional team leadership or supervision
• Associate's, Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Florida Driver's License preferred
