The role of the General Manager at Jimmy Fresh is a highly critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the in-store operations. This full-time position requires a self-motivated leader capable of managing a bustling restaurant environment while ensuring compliance with brand standards and operational procedures. The General Manager directly manages staffing and scheduling, food safety, inventory control, cost of goods sold (COGS) management, cash handling, and brand compliance. They are tasked with guaranteeing that the store operates in exceptional condition, and that all employees perform their duties properly, efficiently, and safely. Aside from daily operational responsibilities, the General Manager acts as a mentor and trainer, guiding assistant managers, PICs (person in charge), in-shop staff, and delivery drivers. This position demands superior leadership abilities to execute systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity while fostering a positive and productive work environment. The role also requires the physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 30-40 pounds regularly, standing and moving throughout shifts, and working in walk-in refrigerators and freezers with temperatures that range from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. To succeed, a General Manager at Jimmy Fresh must hold certifications such as the Jimmy John Manager Certification and ServSafe Manager Certification. Additionally, proficiency in basic software like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat is required to manage reports, scheduling, communications, and inventory effectively. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation are also mandatory due to the mobility and accessibility demands of the position.
