The Pre-Opening General Manager role at Locale Hospitality offers an exciting leadership opportunity for an individual passionate about hospitality operations and team development. This position is responsible for overseeing the successful launch and operational excellence of new properties, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and cultivating a motivated and high-performing onsite team. The ideal candidate will drive property readiness through hands-on management of pre-opening tasks, including recruiting, training, and mentoring employees to deliver outstanding service from day one.
This leadership position entails significant ownership of the property's operational performance, with a particular focus on housekeeping, building maintenance, vendor coordination, and cost management. The General Manager will implement strategic best practices to maximize occupancy rates, optimize revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, the role requires strong relationship-building skills to maintain collaborative partnerships with ownership groups, vendors, and local community stakeholders.
As a hands-on leader, the Pre-Opening General Manager will foster a positive workplace culture by leading effective communication strategies such as daily standups and team meetings, promoting employee satisfaction, and driving accountability.
