- Previous front office supervisory or management experience in a hotel setting
- One year of customer service experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use a moderately complex computer system
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to safety and security of guests and hotel property
- Ability to effectively deal with employees and customers requiring patience, tact and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to write reports, correspondences, memos and employee performance evaluations
- Ability to calculate basic math including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Meets legal age requirements
- Driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must be able to walk and climb/descend stairs approximately 20 percent of the time
- Must be able to frequently kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasks
