Urban Air Corpus Christi is currently seeking a General Manager to lead their team to new heights by motivating staff, instilling accountability, and driving results while maintaining the company’s fun and vibrant culture. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the operations at a dynamic location-based entertainment facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall leadership, vision, and direction across multiple initiatives and operational standards. This role demands a passionate, energetic leader who can foster a positive atmosphere for both guests and employees, ensuring exceptional customer service and a safe environment.
As a General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the park’s operations including entertainment, food and beverage services, attractions, and property management. A significant focus will be on hiring, training, and mentoring staff to develop their skills and promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment. You'll also implement staff training programs and support the growth of Area Leads and Certified Trainers, preparing them for increased responsibility and internal promotion. Providing motivation and leveraging the individual strengths of the management team to maximize productivity will be a key part of your leadership.
In addition to operational responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in financial management by analyzing reports, controlling expenses, maintaining labor budgets, and capitalizing on market opportunities through effective execution of company marketing strategies. Holding managers accountable for meeting departmental goals and promoting positive employee relations to uphold high staff morale are essential functions.
This role also emphasizes maintaining a strong presence within the local community through partnerships and active engagement with business organizations, enhancing the park's visibility and reputation. Monitoring guest feedback and online reviews will be part of your duties to ensure continuous improvement of the guest experience.

- Education level not specified
- 3+ years of experience in facility operations and management required
- Experience in hospitality such as theme parks, family entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants required
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Professional grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed
- Strong communication skills
