FULL TIME - Residential Cleaning Technician

This job opening is for a full-time Cleaning Technician role within the Joy of Cleaning team. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $16 per hour during a one-week paid training period. Upon successful completion of training, pay increases to a range of $18 to $22 per hour depending on weekly hours worked, with the potential to earn up to $24 per hour after a few months of excellent performance. Additional earnings come through tips and performance-based bonuses, creating an opportunity for motivated individuals to maximize their income. The expected weekly hours are between 30 to 40, with a consistent Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday day shift schedule from 8 AM to 6 PM, with occasional flexibility required. Optional weekend shifts are available for extra pay. The Cleaning Technician role involves performing thorough residential cleaning tasks that are physically demanding and require strong attention to detail. Technicians will be responsible for dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, and performing deep cleanings including move-in and move-out services. The job requires traveling daily between client homes within a 20-mile radius of St. Petersburg and Tampa using personal transportation, which necessitates a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Technicians must be able to work independently while consistently delivering high-quality customer service to ensure client satisfaction. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of residential cleaning experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations in past 5 years
• Reliable transportation to travel within 20-mile radius of St. Petersburg and Tampa
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, push, and lift up to 20 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to speak and understand English
• Pass a criminal background check
• Ability to work alone
• Availability to work Monday-Friday 8 AM-6 PM or Tuesday-Saturday 8 AM-6 PM with occasional flexibility
• Willingness to travel between Tampa and St. Petersburg as needed
