The role available is for a Host, an essential frontline position responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Hosts are expected to work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations while contributing to the welcoming and inclusive environment that makes the restaurants stand out. As a Host, your responsibilities will include warmly greeting guests, managing seating arrangements and waitlists, answering phones and handling reservations through systems like Open Table, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host area. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment, exhibit strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to handle challenging situations with grace and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with technology such as POS systems (Toast), reservation platforms (Open Table), and scheduling tools (Hot Schedules) is also important. Superba Food + Bread offers a competitive wage range of $23.00 to $27.00 per hour including tips, underscoring the value it places on skilled team members.
