The Sales Manager, Venues role at Encore is a dynamic and strategic position focused on driving revenue through effective customer relationship management and proactive sales initiatives. This role is responsible for guiding customers seamlessly through their event experiences, identifying their goals, and proposing tailored solutions that enhance event engagement and success. The Sales Manager leverages Encore’s comprehensive sales process and tools to maximize event opportunities and revenue capture from an assigned customer base.
In this role, the individual collaborates closely with venue personnel, vendors, and internal departments to ensure the flawless execution of event services and adherence to profitability guidelines. They participate in site visits, pre-conference planning, and ongoing customer engagement to provide a world-class service experience. The Sales Manager also plays a key role in maintaining accurate customer data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supports cross-selling through the broader Encore network.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $68,640 to $70,000, with potential additional compensation such as bonuses or incentives depending on factors like location, experience, and specific skills. Working primarily in hotel and convention center environments, this role demands adaptability, technical knowledge in audiovisual solutions, and strong interpersonal skills. It also requires occasional irregular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

                - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
 - at least 1 year of relevant sales experience
 - technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
 - technical proficiency with audiovisual equipment and event technology

 - ability to manage multiple priorities and work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
