We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Front Office Receptionists to join our busy Charleston office team. The position is vital as the front desk serves as the initial point of contact for all patients, setting the tone for their experience at the clinic. This role involves a blend of administrative duties and patient interaction, requiring excellent organizational skills and a friendly demeanor. Part-time employees will work 2-3 days per week with full-time work hours on those days, providing flexibility while maintaining consistent coverage. Full-time employees will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, as well as a 401k and profit-sharing plan.
The Front Office Receptionist will be responsible for managing patient registrations, handling referral monitoring, managing incoming phone calls, verifying insurance coverage, collecting copayments, and scheduling patient appointments. Because this position requires multitasking in a high-paced healthcare setting, candidates must be able to maintain professionalism and composure while providing empathetic service to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a team-oriented mindset, a commitment to excellent attendance, and the flexibility to occasionally work at satellite offices as needed. They will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations and a positive patient experience, representing the practice with a friendly, professional attitude both in person and over the phone.
