The role of Air Export Gateway Freight Forwarder based in Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Grapevine, is a full-time position within DSV's Air & Sea division. This position focuses on managing and coordinating the exportation of goods by air directly from the gateway facility. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire export process, from booking cargo space and preparing the required documentation to ensuring timely delivery to international destinations. The Freight Forwarder will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, updating shipment status, and facilitating compliance with export regulations and customs clearance procedures. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in freight forwarding software such as CargoWise and CHAMP Cargosystems. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field, and has 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or air export operations including air freight. Additional certifications like IATA or FIATA are advantageous. The compensation for this role is hourly, ranging from $22.25 to $30.25, depending on factors like skills, experience, and knowledge.
