The role of Aircraft Maintenance Technician within Steel Dynamics is critical to the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft used for business travel and operational support. This position involves performing a wide range of maintenance activities on corporate jets or other company aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company safety policies. You will work closely with pilots, engineers, service providers, and other maintenance professionals to ensure that all aircraft systems and components are serviced properly and remain airworthy. The job requires a strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting aircraft maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for routine inspections, scheduled and unscheduled repairs, and preventive maintenance measures that uphold aviation safety standards.
