The role of Aircraft Security Agent and Baggage Handler at PrimeFlight Aviation Services is a dynamic and essential position that supports the smooth operations of airport ground services. This full-time role requires open availability for shifts that can include nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 nature of the airline industry. The position's salary starts at $21.46 per hour, increasing to $22.04 starting July 1, with an additional raise after 90 days of service. This role involves multiple responsibilities focused on both security and baggage handling, requiring highly attentive individuals dedicated to maintaining safety and efficiency. As an Aircraft Security Agent, you will be responsible for guarding secured airport areas, including the entrances to aircraft, vigilant against unauthorized access and suspicious individuals. This requires strict adherence to airport security protocols and a keen eye for detail. In the capacity of Baggage Handler, your main duties will include the careful and timely loading, unloading, sorting, and routing of passenger baggage using equipment such as conveyor belts and trolleys. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy items up to 70 pounds, and the willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
