We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team at the Insulspan plant. This position offers a great opportunity for candidates looking to build a rewarding career within a well-respected company. The role is a full-time position with a standard shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available as required. The starting pay ranges from $17 to $18 per hour, dependent on experience, reflecting our commitment to fairly compensating our workforce. The Forklift Operator will play an essential role in ensuring safe and efficient material movement within the facility. Responsibilities will include assisting with the transportation of panels throughout the department, unloading and inspecting incoming materials, and properly storing them. The role also involves preparing lumber for warehouse inventory and job sites, as well as loading trailers with materials for both simple and complex jobs. Safety is paramount, and the operator must meet all safety regulations, operate equipment safely, and wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is also a key component of this role, along with fostering a cooperative attitude and flexibility to thrive in a team setting.
