We are a dedicated educational institution operating as a four-day-a-week school, committed to providing an enriching learning environment for students and staff alike. Our school values community, teamwork, and service, creating a supportive atmosphere where every member can thrive. As part of our mission to nurture both the minds and bodies of our students, we place significant focus on the quality and safety of meals served within our cafeteria. We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Food Service Worker to join our cafeteria team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week over four days. This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily cafeteria operations by preparing, serving, and maintaining food service areas that meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. It offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and are enthusiastic about making a positive impact within a school community. The Food Service Worker duties encompass a broad range of responsibilities including food preparation following established recipes and safety protocols, serving meals to students, staff, and visitors courteously, and ensuring all kitchen and service areas are kept clean and organized. Additionally, this role involves stocking service areas, assisting with inventory and deliveries, and adhering strictly to all local, state, and federal health regulations. Beyond the technical aspects of food service, this role is perfect for team players who value dependability and inclusivity, enjoy working with children, and take pride in contributing to a smooth and pleasant dining experience for everyone in the school. Candidates new to food service are welcome, as well as those with experience looking to bring their skills to a community-focused role. This position also requires physical stamina to stand for entire shifts and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, as well as an ability to perform repetitive tasks within a busy kitchen environment. With a schedule designed around a school calendar and occasional events, this role offers meaningful part-time employment for those seeking steady work where they can see the direct impact of their efforts on the students and staff they serve. If you are committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy contributing to a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you. Join us and serve up something meaningful each day!
